VEHICLE MOVEMENT

To avoid traffic congestion and ensure the safety of all camping patrons, vehicles brought into the Campgrounds (including the Overflow Car Park) are not permitted to leave the Campgrounds (or Overflow Car Park) under any circumstances until the Approved Departure Time.

Vehicles are not permitted to be driven around the Campgrounds for any reason (this includes ferrying passengers between entry gates and the designated Camp Site or the Overflow Carpark spot)

Approved Departure Time means either of the following:
10:00pm (AEST) on Sunday 25 September 2022 – 1:00am (AEST) on Monday 26 September 2020
6:00am (AEST) on Monday 26 September 2022 – 12:00pm (AEST) on Monday 26 September 2020

Breach of this condition may result in your eviction from the Festival Site / Campground for the remainder of the Festival. If you are evicted for breach of this condition you will not be entitled to any refund for your Festival Ticket or Camping Ticket.  

CAMP SITE PASSES

Only one (1) Camp Site Pass is issued for each Camping Site purchased.
For entry into the Camping Site each vehicle must have a separate Camp Site Pass. 
Additional vehicles will require an Overflow Carpark Pass for the Overflow Carpark (these can be purchased online).

ARRIVING AT THE CAMPGROUNDS

Only one vehicle per Camp Site is allowed to drive directly to the Camp Site. Extra vehicles for the same Camp Site will be directed straight to the Overflow Carpark. Once at the main Campground gates you will be directed by marshals to either A, B or C Campground. Only one vehicle per Camp Site is allowed to drive directly to the Camp Site. Extra vehicles for the same Camp Site will be directed straight to the Overflow Carpark.

WEDNESDAY 21 SEPTEMBER – LARGE SITES ONLY

All vehicles arriving at the Campgrounds on Wednesday must enter via Goebels Road. Paynes Road will be signposted as a ‘Special Event Clearway’ from 12pm, Monday 19 September to 4am, Wednesday 21 September. It is important to note that during this period, vehicles will not be allowed to park along Paynes Road. Paynes Road will be one-way eastbound traffic only, this is in place until 6pm, Friday 23 September.

Campground gate opening times on Wednesday 21 September is:      
Open:      12 noon (AEST)
Close:      8:00pm (AEST)
No entry is permitted into the Campgrounds outside these hours.

THURSDAY 22 SEPTEMBER – ALL CAMPGROUNDS

All vehicles arriving at the Campgrounds on Thursday must enter via Goebels Road. All vehicles arriving at the Camping Site on Friday, Saturday or Sunday must enter via the main entry on Champions Way and follow the directional signage to the Camping Site.

Entry to the Camping Site on Friday 23 Sunday 25 September is: 
Open:      9:00am (AEST)
Close:      8:00pm (AEST)
No entry is permitted into the Campgrounds outside these hours.

OVERFLOW CARPARK

In 2022, the Overflow Carparks will be located in A & B Campgrounds. You will still enter via the main Campground gates off Payne’s Road to access this the Overflow Carpark. If you are arriving in a vehicle that does not have a bar-coded Camp Site Pass you must proceed directly to the Overflow Carpark.

Selection of Camping Spots

All Camping Spots will be allocated by Festival staff on a first come, first served basis. If you wish to camp with friends, you must arrive together and have purchased a Camp Site in the same Campground & the same size Camping Site (ie Small, Medium or Large) as all Camping Site sizes are in separate areas.

ALCOHOL AT CAMPSITE

The Camp Site is strictly an alcohol free zone. All vehicles entering the Camp Site may be searched and any alcohol found will be confiscated and not returned and the offending patron(s) ejected from the Festival Site and Camp Site for the remainder of the Festival.

CMC Rocks QLD 2022 – Prohibited Items

Prohibited Items include but are not limited to:

The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to any persons. Any persons found to be in possession of Prohibited Items will have those Prohibited Items confiscated and they will not be returned. 

Any persons found to be in possession of illegal substances or participating in illegal activities will be removed from Festival Site / Camp Site and may be referred to the police.

  • Alcohol – any alcohol found at the Festival Site or the Camp Site will be confiscated and the offending patron(s) ejected from the Festival Site / Camp Site for the remainder of the Festival
  • Glass (jars, bottles, containers, mirrors and perfumes).
  • Weapons of any sort including tasers, mace sprays or explosives of any kind (including potential missiles / projectiles).
  • Illegal substances.
  • Nitrous oxide bulbs and canisters. 
  • Flares, fireworks, sparklers, explosives or any fire twirling equipment.
  • Instruments.
  • Fires and open flames.
  • Flammable liquids (container / jerry cans with flammable liquids will be confiscated).
  • Sound systems. 
  • Air horns. 
  • Portable laser equipment, laser points or pens.
  • Sharpies, markers, paint cans or paint pens.
  • Drones or any other remote control devices.
  • Anything studded (ie belts, wristbands, etc).
  • Whips.
  • Kites or sky lanterns. 
  • Toy guns, water guns or slingshots. 
  • Skateboards, scooters, wagons, carts, rollerblades, roller skates, bicycles, electric bikes, electric scooters, quad-bikes, segways, hoverboards, self-balancing scooters or any personal motorised vehicles.
  • Animals (excluding service dogs such as guide dogs).
  • Unauthorised solicitation and materials including handbills, flyers, stickers, beach balls, give-aways, samples, or other promotional items.
  • Clothing, jewellery or accessory displaying the name of any motorcycle-related or similar organisations or any “declared criminal organisation” within the meaning of the Criminal Code (Criminal Organisations) Regulation 2013.
  • Any other item deemed by Festival personnel (in their discretion) to be dangerous or offensive or potentially dangerous.
